b STORE

b STORE is a menswear and womenswear brand located in Mayfair, London (24a Saville Row, W1S 3PR).The store was launched in 2001 as a shoe line, giving new designers and artists the possibility to stock their products and contribute to it. In 2006 b STORE moved to it's current location and started a whole collection that with success, nowadays, it is presented in seasonal collections at London Fashion Week.

Co-owners and creative directors, Matthew Murphy and Kirk Beattie offer a classic and trendy English style with a modern twist that appeals to anyone aware of the latest trends. Besides fashion, the brand is linked to the world of art and music (the best way to check it out is by visiting the store, as its music and visual merchandising entertains anyone). They are also known for their various collaborations with artists and designers from different media, usually presented in their display windows.
b STORE is a very well-known store within the fashion industry, awarded in 2006 'Shop of the Year' at the British Fashion Awards. Furthermore, has appeared in many magazines as Drapers, Marie Claire, GQ, Attitude, The London Magazine, FHM, Dazed Digital, MWB and Selectism (a daily online men's fashion, footwear, lifestyle, design, culture magazine) who constantly refers to many b STORE's products.

Its products are also sold at retailers like Selfridges, Dover Street Market, The Shop @ Bluebird, Diverse, Asos and Paper. Their international stockists are France, Korea, Japan, China and the US.



This store is mainly focused on menswear, known as one of the best independent men's tailors, shirtmakers and shoemakers. However, in it's AW10 collection presented the first complete womenswear collection, designed by Natascha Stolle.

b STORE's webpage keeps their customers informed about all the news of the store through their blog and of course, it offers the online shopping experience with their collections as well as some designers like: Bernhard Willhelm, Berthold, Christophe Lemaire, Complex Geometries, Ian Batten, Opening Ceremony, Peter Jensen, Stephan Scheineder, among others.

And this isn't all, b STORE also has their own magazine, 'b Magazine' created for the same purpose but transmitting in a much more deeper way, complementing and adding everything that the store can't offer.

b magazine is currently in it's third issue, with complete success keeping the reader up to date with the latest fashion trends, London art exhibitions, also covering the music sphere and interviewing and presenting new talented artists.

Finally, b STORE launched it's SS'11 collection with two exclusive films (menswear and womenswear).
The womenswear film is called 'Leaving Dreamland' and describes the up coming collection. Directed by Ivana Bobic and Rain Li.

The shop was launched in 2005 and is a store that it gets developed all the time. It sells everything, from designers womens wear mens wear and accessories through to furniture, music,gifts,books, spa and beauty area (was added in 2007 )and home accessories
Bluebird shop firstly is a multi brand shop were contains many brands from really casual clothes up to evening clothes . You can find all the fashionable magazines for example I-D,Vogue, Harper's Bazzar, Elle etc. Also their are many fashionable items for the house-kitcken/books- office and through these makes the shop look really interesting and extraordinary.
To start with the clothing Bluebird some of the brands that sells are Luella, Philip Lim, Costum National , Mulberry, Stella McCartney, Sonia by Sonia Rykiel, Comme des Garcons, Vanessa Bruno, Dian von Fustenberg. The clothes that they sell are very trendy and fashionable. They have nothing to do with more classic lines and shapes. Everything are really modern coloured either with prints or with really unusual shapes-lines-cuts such as Comme des Garcons. Nonetheless they just added the second collection of marni called Marni Editions.
The clothes-accessories-shoes-books and all the staff are presented in a very modern and at the same time minimal way. For the decoration of the shop the used vintage items do the whole store be presented in a contemporary way as the clothes / items they sell are.
Also the items that they sell for the home/ kitchen you can say that they are also really fashionable and contemporary.They have really weird shapes and designs.Everything in the shop are unusual weird and very fashionable.
They have also some exclusive items for example the Basso and Brooke wine which they were 2 different designs. The labels are full of colours and patterns looks theatrical and fabulous.
Generally the shop because its getting developed all the time the most important thing is that everything they add to the shop to be always fashionable new interesting and useful so they can attract the buyer

Topshop (Oxford ST WC1)

Topshop is very fabulous for the trends and the teenage clothes that sells. Has all the trends of each season in a very big range were can complete all the tastes. (shoes-clothes-accessories)
The mood of the shop is very dynamic and fun because of the music - the clothes and the whole life that it's created every day from the employs and the young customers. Also topshop except from the clothes that they produce contains a big variety of other brands with vintage and very interesting clothes in very good prices. Students can have 10% discount and Sometimes there are some special offers on the basics clothing.
The figures in the shop are dressed up by another team and they get them dressed depending on the hot trends of that season with the aim to catch as more eyes they can.

Urban Outfitters (38 kensington hight street W8)


Urban Outfitters : multi brand shop
Urban Outfitters is really similar to Topshop because both include clothes that basically are for teens. This is the reason why the shop is presented in this way. It's very simple and very modern at the same time. They use very interesting decoration, for example some of the lights in the shop are with different colours and they are placed in a very interesting way.
The shop is splited up in 3 floors where each floor has clothes depending on the brand. The brands that the shop contains are : Acne, Iro , boy London, MM6 etc. All the brands are really similar between them because are very artistic minimal designs. The visual merchandising of the shop is very creative illustrations that are printed on the clothes.
The people that usual shop from urban outfitters are more weird were they have more extreme taste and hey are very interested in dynamical dysigns.
Also to promote even more the store and the clothes they employs are teenagers and they are dressed up in a more artistic way so they can catch the eye of the buyer even more easily.
Nonetheless the mood and the music of the the shop is very trendy -fun - funky so the atmosphere can be as much fashionable and artistic the clothes are.



Browns Store/Browns Focus store (39 South Molton Street W1)

The shop basically contains first lines of the designers were usually are not clothes for teens.
The mood shop is very classic and calm were when you get in you get in you don't feel very comfortable because is not presented really dynamical with loud music and life.
The visual merchandising of the shop is really close to classical and restricted. They keep this image because the clothes that they present in more chic and classical way.
The prices of the shop are high because the clothes are first lines from really famous brands.

Browns Focus :Multi brand shop
Comparing with Browns store, browns focus is a very trendy girly and modern shop.
The clothes are basically for teenagers because they are more dynamical and more unusual clothes. They might have interesting shapes, designs , colours, sequences, mini skirts etc.
Also the mood of the shop and the way that is presented through it decoration and the music is very dynamical and modern and extreme were this very easy catches the eye of the teenage customer.Through this presentation the clothes come out even more dynamical and they look even more rich and unusual. The shops except from the clothes sells some interesting accessories that they might be also more rock and extraordinary. They might have on them a cross, skeletons, swarovski crystals.

Liberty, (Regent Street W1)

Liberty is Multi brand shop. Brands: Vivian Westwood, Levis, Acne, Cacharel, Felicity Brown , Alexander Wang ,
Etro , Richard Nicoll etc.The shop is splitted up in 3 different floors where depending on the
floor the brands are separated.The floors are splited up in accessories/shoes- Evening clothes-Casula/Every
day clothes.Generally the clothes that Liberty contains are the trends of each season.More girly,
modern,full of sequences,glitters,shiny,looking extreme and unusual, these are some key words that might explain the clothes and
accessories that Liberty has.The building of the shop is really fantastic and unusual.
Its an old building decorated and painted in a very modern way so it can be combined with the image that the
shop wants to sell.Also the shop inside is full of wood and this makes it be cosy
and more comfortable.This makes the customer feel free and comfortable to shop and take his time.
The decoration of the shop inside is really interesting because of he use of different material
and this helps the shop have a different image every time the decoration changes.
Also the windows of the shop are looking fantastic because they are decorated in a
very interesting and sparkling way by using glitters and many small toys.
Nonetheless Liberty has the column of 'Liberty Exclusives' in many departments were there is the
hottest range of fashion and accessories,fabrics.For example Assad Mounsr's edgy jewels and Manolo Blahnik fabric for liberty.
