-Period: 1950s
-Places: Elephant & Castle, south of the Thames
-The first post-war working class
-Known for their rebelliousness and sensitivity to insults
-Much of their money went on clothes
-They reflected a modern social environment which couldn't have existed before the Second World War.
-STYLE: A modification of Savile row Edwardian suits with the dandy look
Hair: A greased-up hair with a quiff at the front
-Rock'n Roll: Bill Haley, Elvis Presley, among others
